This research demonstrates flexible, humidity- and temperature-responsive clothing material, suggesting sustainable thermal comfort solutions.
Smart Clothing for Sustainable Thermal Comfort This cover illustrates the passive thermal regulation of a zero Poisson-inspired, flexible, humidity- and temperature-responsive material exemplified in smart clothing. The electrospun nonwoven coating maintains dimensional stability by combining a honeycomb nanofiber structure with a tailored mechanical cutting pattern. Together with a silver coating, the system enables passive heat retention (closed pores) and dissipation (open pores) for sustainable thermal comfort.
