Does fluvastatin added to clopidogrel and conventional treatment improve clinical efficacy, neurological function, and lipid profiles in patients with cerebral infarction?
Adding fluvastatin to clopidogrel and conventional therapy improves neurological function, daily living ability, and lipid profiles in patients with cerebral infarction without increasing adverse reactions.
p-value: p=<0.05
Abstract:Objective:Exploring the clinical efficacy of clopidogrel combined with fluvastatin in the treatment of patients with cerebral infarction. Method: Sixty patients admitted to Jianhua Hospital in Qiqihar,Heilongjiang Province from November 2024 to November 2025 were selected as the target of this study, mainly patients with cerebral infarction. According to the random method, all patients were divided into a reference group(30 patients)and a study group(30 patients); The reference group received conventional treatment combined with clopidogrel monotherapy; The research group implemented fluatorvastatin treatment on the basis of the reference group;Afterwards, the treatment efficacy,NIHSS score,ADL score, blood lipid indicators, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups of patients.Result:The above indicators in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The combination of clopidogrel and fluvastatin has shown significant therapeutic effects in the treatment of cerebral infarction, effectively optimizing patients' neurological function and daily living ability, while also playing a good regulatory role in lipid metabolism. Its safety has been fully verified, therefore it has the value of being widely promoted and applied in clinical practice.
刘家骥 Jiaji Liu (Thu,) conducted a rct in Cerebral infarction (n=60). Clopidogrel combined with fluvastatin vs. Conventional treatment combined with clopidogrel monotherapy was evaluated on Treatment efficacy, NIHSS score, ADL score, blood lipid indicators, and incidence of adverse reactions (p=<0.05). Clopidogrel combined with fluvastatin significantly improved treatment efficacy, neurological function, daily living ability, and lipid metabolism compared to clopidogrel alone (P<0.05).
