ABSTRACT Nocardia infection should be considered in immunocompromised patients presenting with concurrent pulmonary and neurological symptoms. Species identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing are crucial. Co‐trimoxazole is the first‐line treatment. It is important to educate renal transplant recipients that outdoor or agricultural activities require protective precautions to prevent opportunistic infections.
