Available water-holding capacity (AWC) maps of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba were derived from Soil Landscape maps (1:1 million scale) by substituting AWC classes for soil textural classes. The maps provide information required for the geographical interpretation of soil water and crop modelling analyses.
