GSPECT MPI establishes normal LV dyssynchrony indices, with PSD and HBW correlating linearly with TSI.
Why the study?
Normal values of left ventricular mechanical dyssynchrony indices assessed by gated SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging (GSPECT) needed to be determined in Vietnamese individuals without cardiovascular disease.
Does precordial ST segment depression predict the extent of coronary artery disease in patients with acute inferior myocardial infarction?

Does precordial ST segment depression predict the extent of coronary artery disease in patients with acute inferior myocardial infarction?
Precordial ST-segment depression in acute inferior myocardial infarction is a useful ECG sign to predict severe coronary artery disease, including left main and 3-vessel disease.

Guides clinical GSPECT dyssynchrony assessment in Vietnamese patients; extends reference ranges to Asian populations and leaves open prognostic value.

Trung et al. (2018) conducted a cross-sectional in No cardiovascular disease (n=59). GSPECT MPI vs. Tissue Synchronization Imaging (TSI) was evaluated on Normal values of left ventricular dyssynchrony indices (PSD, HBW, HK, HS) (R=0.75 (PSD), R=0.61 (HBW)).
