Engine achieves high-speed 256-bit arithmetic in blockchain wallets, suggesting enhanced security and efficiency.
A user-space engine written in C++17 that achieves 50.8 million trustless 256-bit nonces per second and 26.6 million exact 512-bit multiplications per second, leveraging physical entropy from MESI cache-coherence. It operates without OS calls, without reliance on /dev/urandom, and without requiring kernel trust. Designed for: Hardware wallet backends (Ledger- and Trezor-class devices) ZK-Rollup sequencers such as StarkNet, zkSync, and Polygon zkEVM High-frequency blockchain signing infrastructure Benchmark results: Compared against Comba and unrolled schoolbook implementations Comba exhibited a critical 129-bit overflow bug Unrolled version was 4% slower The original schoolbook loop represents the practical performance ceiling for this hardware class in C++ The engine includes an HMAC-DRBG-based whitening architecture that mitigates lattice-based attacks (LLL / Hidden Number Problem), the same class of vulnerability exploited in the PlayStation 3 ECDSA compromise.
