This studied the physio-chemical properties of water from boreholes in Awka, Anambra State (Nigeria). The theoretical framework is based on the hydrological cycle which is a sub-system of the systems theory. Water samples were collected from sampled boreholes and subjected to laboratory analysis to generate the data needed. The student’s-t test was used to test the hypothesis postulated. The result of the analysis showed that there is no significant difference between the physical and chemical properties of the sampled borehole water and WHO standard.
