Chocolate spot, caused by Botrytis spp., is one of the most economically important fungal diseases of faba beans worldwide. Chocolate spot begins as small, red-brown lesions on mature leaves. Spots can coalesce into larger lesions with dry, tan centers and red margins. Lesions can also form on pods and stems. As the disease progresses, it can cause defoliation and whole plant collapse. This report evaluates the efficacy of several foliar fungicides for the management of chocolate spot on faba beans. The experiment was conducted in Painter, VA, in 2025 on 'Felix' faba beans (Vicia faba). The results from this efficacy trial will improve the selection of effective products and management recommendations.
