A differential method for active vibroseismic monitoring of the stress-strain state of heterogeneous structures in the geophysical environment is proposed. This method involves monitoring of variations in the phase difference of a narrowband signal from a powerful remote vibrational source at two spaced seismic stations. The results of field experiments using hydraulic units of Bratsk hydroelectric power plant as a vibrational source with a frequency of 2.083 Hz are presented. By the example of the Baikal Rift Zone, the results of observations of multiscale deformation processes in the Earth’s crust during the preparation and development stages of focal structures of local earthquakes are analyzed.
