Is high platelet reactivity with prasugrel associated with increased MACCE or major bleeding after PCI in patients with diabetes mellitus?
High platelet reactivity with prasugrel does not appear to increase the risk of MACCE or major bleeding in diabetic patients undergoing PCI, contrasting with a trend toward increased MACCE in non-diabetic patients.
In patients with DM, HPR with prasugrel was not associated with MACCE or major bleeding, whereas MACCE tended to be increased in those without DM.
