The early initiation of oral enteral nutrition after intestinal transit reconstruction in pediatric patients was associated with a shorter time until the restoration of intestinal transit and a reduction in hospital stay, with no observed increase in the incidence of complications. However, multicenter studies with a larger sample size are needed to confirm these findings and establish more robust recommendations.
