Demonstrates improved control performance in hypersonic flight vehicles, indicating effectiveness of advanced control methods.
This paper investigates the control problem of hypersonic flight vehicles (HFVs) subject to time‐varying actuator faults, input saturation, and unknown disturbances. A non‐singular prescribed performance control (NSPPC) method integrated with a second‐order fast finite‐time convergent auxiliary system (SFFTAS) is proposed, which effectively resolves the singularity issue of prescribed performance control in high‐order input‐saturated nonlinear systems. To compensate for the impacts of time‐varying actuator faults and external disturbances on control performance, a globally finite‐time super‐twisting extended state observer (GFSESO) is designed. Compared with most existing observers, the proposed GFSESO exhibits reduced chattering and achieves globally finite‐time stability, ensuring fast and high‐precision convergence of estimated values. Extensive simulation results validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control scheme.
