In this paper, an attempt is made to analyze and correlate load ratio effects on fatigue crack growth (FCG) when multiple mechanisms are involved. To identify different mechanisms, a plot of normalized stress intensity factor (SIF) range as a function of the load ratio (R) at a given constant fatigue crack growth (FCG) rate is used. The proposed analysis is validated and compared with FCG data reported in the literature.
