This paper presents a mathematical foundation for the ontology of silence–signal–image: a coherent formal system describing creative processes in digital art and AI-generated imagery. The theory unifies Shannon's information entropy, Kolmogorov complexity, and the thermodynamics of information (Landauer's principle) into a single formalism in which every artistic act constitutes an act of entropy reduction within a space of potentiality. The framework introduces a conservation law for the creative process, a metric of artistic elegance, and a thermodynamic grounding for aesthetic theory. The system is falsifiable, predictive, and universal — applicable both to the analysis of AI-generated works and to the classical human creative process.
