ABSTRACT Background: This study aims to evaluate the relationship between creatine kinase (CK) values, the incidence of rhabdomyolysis and the association with surgical time and body mass index (BMI) of patients undergoing urethroplasty in this position. Materials and Methods: Retrospective study, patients undergoing urethroplasty and lithotomy as their surgical positioning, in a public hospital from São Paulo from 2022 and 2023. Data collection was performed manually in the electronic medical records by trained researchers, using a standardized form. The significance level considered was P 500 with 19 (32.8%). The BMI variable was also categorized into 30 with a total of 19 (32.8%). The average duration of the surgical procedure was 271.45 min. Conclusion: It is important to guide the preoperative preparation of the patient with weight loss and reduce the surgical time in addition to improving the expertise of the team and the possibility of two simultaneous teams for graft removal to avoid complications.
