In this framework, “flow” refers to the coordinated movement, transformation, delivery, and regulation of biological inputs. This includes digestion, absorption, nutrient delivery, clearance, motility, mucosal tolerance, metabolic signaling, and regulatory stability. The purpose of Flow Philosophy is not to replace medicine, nutrition, psychology, traditional frameworks, or microbiome science. Rather, it provides a structural lens for asking a different question: What upstream flow has become impaired, and how does that impairment propagate downstream?
