This paper establishes the minimal ontological foundation of Difference Monism (DM). It argues that the most economical starting point for a philosophical system covering ontology, mind, knowledge, and normativity is not substance, process, or relation—but difference plus non-arbitrary constraint. From this foundation, the paper derives the complete chain: difference → structure → boundary → configuration transformation → trace inheritance → temporality → irreversibility → persistence → beings → regularity → causality → emergence.
