Comparative analysis examines diversification rates in clonal and non-clonal flowering plants, suggesting significant insights into plant evolution.
This repository contains the data and R scripts required to reproduce the analyses and figures presented in the manuscript on clonality and diversification in plants. The archive includes a species-level clonality dataset, phylogenetic trees, and diversification rate estimates from Dimitrov et al. (2023), as well as genus-level diversification estimates and method-of-moments (MoM) estimates. It also contains scripts for data processing, statistical analyses, sensitivity analyses, and figure generation, along with custom R functions. All files are organized into structured directories, and a README file is provided to describe the contents and facilitate reproducibility. Phylogenetic trees and BAMM diversification rate estimates were obtained from:Dimitrov, D., Xu, X., Su, X., Shrestha, N., Liu, Y., et al. (2023). Diversification of flowering plants in space and time. Nature Communications, 14(1). All other data and code were generated by the authors.
