This study investigated the impact of social support on the psychological well-being of caregivers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Lagos State. Using a cross sectional design, a purposive sampling technique was employed to recruit 102 caregivers (79 females and 23 males). Participants completed validated instruments, including the Psychological Well-being Scale and the Berlin Social Support Scale. A simple linear regression analysis revealed that social support positively and significantly predicted psychological well-being (β = .318, p = .001), indicating that caregivers who reported higher levels of social support experienced better psychological health. These findings underscore the essential role of social support in enhancing the mental health of caregivers of children with ASD. The study highlights the need for structured support systems and community-based interventions aimed at improving caregiver outcomes.
