The author contributed to the recording as a performer (basso continuo, organ) with the ensemble Modena Barocca, wrote the introductory musicological liner notes entitled «Un vago accoppiamento d'aria dolce e insieme di maestà»: Francesco II d'Este, the Prince of Music, and prepared the edition of the poetic texts included in the booklet.
