Formal framework develops adaptive constraint operators to improve measurement outcomes in physical systems, suggesting new implications.
This work develops a formal framework for adaptive constraint operators as an extension of constraint-based descriptions of physical systems. In this approach, measurement processes are modeled as compositions of constraint operators acting on a state space, where each operator may depend on system state, time, and measurement history. The structure and ordering of these operators are shown to influence outcome distributions, suggesting that measurement results may depend not only on the initial state but also on the configuration of the measurement process itself. A concrete example based on polarization measurement is provided to illustrate the framework. This formulation is consistent with standard quantum mechanics and is intended as a structural reinterpretation rather than a replacement of existing theory.
