Implementation of a digital platform enhances data management and security in student records, suggesting usability improvements.
This research paper presents the design and implementation of a web-based Student Management System (SMS) that facilitates efficient and secure management of student information. The system was developed using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. It supports user authentication, addition, retrieval, updating, and deletion of student records. The proposed solution addresses common challenges associated with manual record-keeping, such as redundancy, inaccuracy, and lack of security, by providing a centralized digital platform. Performance and usability evaluations show that the system improves data management speed and reliability.
