ABSTRACT Climate change is a growing public health challenge, affecting disease patterns and health system performance. This study examines how integrating health into nationally determined contributions (NDCs) can support climate‐resilient health systems. Using a narrative review, it identifies barriers while highlighting opportunities. Case examples from Africa show that health integration strengthens adaptation, mitigation, and equity outcomes. The study concludes that explicit, measurable, and financed health commitments can reposition health as an active driver of climate action under the Paris Agreement.
