This paper is an attempt to understand the contribution of Jyotiba Phule to the development of Shudras, workers, farmers and women. It also highlights the social and economic sphere of Phule's vision. Phule was a revolutionary reformist in the 19th century who fought against the rights of lower castes and for justice. This paper also examines the influencing factors behind Phule's initiative towards the social reforms journey. This paper also seeks to explore his contribution to the education and empowerment of women. One of the key initiatives taken by Phule was to establish justice and equality in society was founded the Satyashodhak Samaj. He supported the rights of farmers and inspired them to demand dignity and worth. He urged them to form cooperative societies and cooperate with each other to advance their economic development movement. To achieve real progress and modernization, Phule believed that education was an essential weapon against caste-discrimination and that education was necessary for all people, regardless of race, caste or social status. Phule was a strong supporter of women's rights; to him, men and women should have equal rights and opportunities.
