The pressurized rover is an exploration system that enables crewed, large-scale exploration of the lunar surface. The system must operate in the harsh lunar environment of 1/6 gravity, regolith dust, a high vacuum, a wide temperature range, and road surface uncertainty. A crewed rover will have a habitation function that will support astronauts in space for more than 30 days in shirtsleeves and a driving function with a lifetime of more than 10 years. This paper reports the status of the study based on the functional requirements for a crewed pressurized rover.
