Purpose: This study aimed to identify the challenges faced by teachers in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) applications in public primary schools within the Arab community and to examine the relationship between these challenges and teachers’ age and place of residence. Methodology: The researcher adopted the descriptive survey method. A questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection. A random sample consisting of 393 teachers from public primary schools in the Arab community inside the Green Line was selected. Findings: The results indicated that teachers face various challenges in employing artificial intelligence (AI) applications in education. The domain of the negative impacts of using AI applications in education ranked first, with a mean of 3.20. The domain of ethical and security aspects of employing AI in education ranked second, with a mean of 3.17, while the domain of personal and professional obstacles ranked third, with a mean of 2.93. Teachers expressed concerns that AI may increase cheating, compromise data security, and widen the digital divide. They also emphasized their need for technological skills to solve technical problems. The results also revealed statistically significant differences according to age and place of residence. Conclusion: Despite the growing benefits of integrating AI in education, teachers continue to face numerous technological and pedagogical barriers, along with disparities in digital readiness both within and between schools. Recommendations: The researcher recommends developing training programs for teachers to support the integration of AI applications in education. الهدف: هدفت الدراسة الكشف عن التحديات التي يواجهها المعلمون في توظيف تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في المدارس الابتدائية الحكومية في المجتمع العربي، والكشف عن علاقة العمر ومكان السكن بذلك. المنهجية: اعتمدت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، والاستبانة أداة لجمع البيانات، وتم اختيار عينة عشوائية مكونة من (393) معلماً من المدارس الابتدائية الحكومية في المجتمع العربي داخل الخط الأخضر. النتائج: أشارت النتائج أن المعلمين يواجهون تحديات متنوعة في توظيفهم لتطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم وجاء محور أضرار استخدام تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم الأول بالترتيب وبمتوسط حسابي (3.20)، ومحور الجوانب الأخلاقية والأمنية بتوظيف الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم بالمرتبة الثانية وبمتوسط حسابي (3.17) وأما محور المعوقات الشخصية والمهنية فجاء في الدرجة الثالثة بمتوسط حسابي (2.93). أعرب المعلمون عن قلقهم بان الذكاء الاصطناعي يزيد الغش، واختراق امن البيانات، ويُوسع الفجوة الرقمية وعن احتياجهم للمهارات التكنولوجية لحل المشكلات التقنية. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة احصائياً وفق متغيري العمر ومكان السكن. الاستنتاجات: بالرغم من المزايا العديدة لتوظيف تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في التعليم، إلا أن المعلمين لا زالوا يواجهون العديد من التحديات في توظيف التكنولوجيا، مما يوسع الفجوة الرقمية بين المعلمين في البلد الواحد وحتى في المدرسة الواحدة. التوصيات: توصي الباحثة بتطوير برامج تدريبية للمعلمين لاستخدام تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في العملية التعليمية.
