Examines creativity in knowledge workers, highlighting AI as a key factor in leadership's impact.
Drawing on social exchange theory (SET) and self‐determination theory (SDT), this study examines the influence of humble, servant, transformational, and transactional leadership on employee creativity through knowledge sharing, with AI‐enabled work well‐being as a moderator. A total of 303 valid responses were collected from Chinese knowledge workers through an online survey. Partial least squares‐structural equation modeling (PLS‐SEM) was applied to test the data. The results indicate that humble, transformational, and transactional leadership positively impact knowledge sharing, which, in turn, enhances employee creativity. Servant leadership shows no significant influence. Moreover, AI‐enabled work well‐being negatively moderates the link between knowledge sharing and creativity. This study integrates multiple leadership styles into a moderated mediation model, highlighting AI‐enabled work well‐being as a key boundary condition. It contributes to understanding how leadership and AI‐driven work contexts jointly shape creativity among knowledge workers, offering new insights for digital‐era organizational leadership and innovation management.
