Investigates prompt photon production in proton collisions, suggesting polarization significantly influences outcomes.
The dependence of differential cross-section of prompt photon production in bremsstrahlung [Formula: see text] at collisions of nonpolarized and longitudinally polarized protons at [Formula: see text] GeV NICA energies on the kinematic parameters: sum of energy of the colliding protons [Formula: see text], the transverse momentum [Formula: see text], the cosine of the scattering angle [Formula: see text]([Formula: see text]), the rapidity [Formula: see text] of photon and [Formula: see text] has been investigated. Differential cross-section of bremsstrahlung accounts for 0.03% of the total diferential cross section for the production of prompt photons in a proton-proton collisions at NICA entrgies. The polarization of protons has a large influence on the differential cross-section of bremsstrahlung [Formula: see text], at large values of the transverse momentum of prompt photons. Double spin asymmetry of process of bremsstrahlung on the kinematic parameters has been studied.
