Conduction system pacing (CSP) aims to replicate physiological activation of the ventricles by artificial simulation, so as to mitigate, if not obviate, the harm of pacing-induced cardiomyopathy (PICM),1–4 which could affect both the left ventricle (LV) and right ventricle (RV).5 Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) ameliorates but does not eliminate the deleterious effects of conventional (apical or septal) RV pacing.6,7 Thus, components of the atrioventricular (AV) conduction axis were explored for CSP.
