Resumen

There was a time when I was particularly interested in looking at modern interpretations of medieval literary works, so, for a while, I compared Chaucer's 'Canterbury Tales' and Ackroyd's 'Clerkenwell Tales' from an intertextual perspective. These notes reflect the results of that analysis, in which I examined how Ackroyd used his medieval sources (all this coming from a medievalist!). Please read the 'Read me' document first.
