We show that all dependent gauge fields of conformal supergravity follow from constraints on curvatures (rather than from a mixture of constraints and field equations). We also give a simplified form of the action and show that if regarded as a one-loop counterterm of Poincar\'e supergravity, it is (at least) quadratic in field equations.
