Develops an extended interpretation of electroweak symmetry breaking, suggesting a new theoretical framework.
This paper develops an extended texture-induced interpretation of electroweak symmetry breaking within the Fractal Consistency Law (FCL). The central claim is deliberately bounded. The paper does not claim that the full Standard Model, its exact gauge group, the complete Yukawa sector, or the full renormalization structure have already been derived from first principles. Instead, it formulates and analyzes one intermediate but crucial bridge: a coarse-grained scalar texture mode of the fractal substrate can shift the effective Higgs quadratic term and thereby induce the electroweak vacuum as a structural consequence of the substrate, rather than as a primitive input. The construction begins from the FCL microscopic substrate as a dynamic hierarchical graph equipped with nodal and relational degrees of freedom. The nodal vector is specified as a local carrier of density, deformation, chirality or orientation, coherence phase, local fractal dimension, connectivity, tension, and scale. The relational sector contains distance, holonomy, flux or tension, and an internal transport operator. Within this structure, a scalar texture component is coarse-grained into a continuum field, denoted by s(x), interpreted as the effective scalar measure of local fractal compression, strain, and coherence tension. The minimal portal between this scalar texture mode and the Higgs norm is then introduced and shown to induce an effective Higgs mass parameter. The resulting theory contains a controlled scalar potential, vacuum conditions, Higgs-texture mixing, a weak-texture regime, and explicit low-energy consistency requirements. It predicts that any deviation from Standard Model Higgs couplings must be small, structured, and compatible with precision constraints. It also identifies the exact failure modes of the proposal: the portal must not be merely decorative, the scalar mixing must remain controlled, electroweak breaking must be induced rather than imposed, and the construction must remain connected to the mass-as-structural-inconsistency program. The paper also integrates the broader closure obligations developed in the FCL matter-and-gauge roadmap: derivation of SU(3) × SU(2) × U(1) from substrate automorphisms, flavor and Yukawa closure, renormalization of residual fractal operators, and quantization of the substrate. The conclusion is that texture-induced electroweak symmetry breaking is a realistic intermediate paper-level target for the FCL program. It does not complete the matter block, but it significantly hardens the bridge between the already quantitative mass-spectrum branch and the still-open gauge, flavor, and renormalization sectors.
