A straightforward experimental procedure was developed for the synthesis of highly crystalline InSb quantum dots (QDs). Spherical QDs were obtained via transsilyation of In(O2CCH3)3 with tris(trimethylsilyl)-antimony in the presence of coordinating ligands.
