This work presents a study on the electrical conductivity of composites made up of polypyrrole particles in a polymethylmethacrylate matrix. The conductivity was studied as a function of frequency in the range 40 Hz to 100 kHz, at room temperature. McLachlan and Mamunya models were used to fit the data and compute the response in a large range of frequency. These models show satisfactory results with experimental electrical conductivities by considering the parameters of these models as adjustable parameters. Nevertheless, the exponent parameters obtained by the simulation are not universal.
