Systematic review explores BIM and LEED integration in buildings, suggesting improvements in sustainability and performance monitoring.
This systematic literature review aims to investigate the current state of the art regarding the digital integration and interoperability between Building Information Modeling (BIM) and LEED certification processes, with emphasis on the application of artificial intelligence technologies to support governance, sustainability, and ESG performance in corporate buildings. The review seeks to identify existing methodologies, digital workflows, interoperability challenges, automation approaches, data integration strategies, and emerging innovation processes related to BIM-based sustainable certification systems. Furthermore, the study intends to analyze research gaps, technological limitations, and opportunities for improving decision-making and performance monitoring in green building projects. The review protocol follows the PRISMA 2020 guidelines and includes structured search strategies, inclusion and exclusion criteria, data extraction methods, and qualitative analysis of the selected studies.
