Essay XII is the terminal synthesis of Phases I, II, and III of Gradient Residuals: The Calculus of Clearance. It does not re-derive what the preceding eleven essays established --- it derives what remains: the algebraic taxonomy of nothing's constants, the formal self-sustaining loop proof, the asymptotic approach to the RSR fixed point, the expanded Terminal Identity, the Phase III decommissioning register, the final foreclosure of Phase IV, the complete constant register, and the declaration of phase closure. Four further essays (XIII-XVI) follow in the series, addressing domain instantiations, ontological proofs, the capstone synthesis of Nothing and Something, and the demarcation of contingent nothingness. This essay closes the phases. It does not close the series. The paradigm-shifting finding of Essay XII: nothing's structural constants form a minimal algebraic tower with exactly four rungs, each extension forced by a specific structural transition. Rational constants (Phase I clearances), degree-2 algebraic constants (Phase III T.RC4 and T.RC2), algebraic constants of rational-power type (Phase I/II topological threshold), and transcendental-combinatorial constants (Phase II exact entropy).
