This note examines the minimal TSCT cosmology's alignment with DESI DR2 BAO geometry, suggesting viability over ΛCDM.
This note records a first hostile observational pressure test of the minimal TSCT cosmology against approximate DESI DR2 BAO geometry. Fixed TSCT inputs with no fitting of Ω_m or w: Ω_m = 9/29 = 0.31034, w = -1+1/(6π) = -0.94695, w_a = 0. Only the standard BAO nuisance scale A = c/(H_0 r_d) is fitted. Result: χ²_TSCT = 11.573, χ²/dof = 0.964, Δχ² = 2.249 < 2.30. The fixed minimal TSCT cosmology lies inside the approximate 1σ contour of the best-fit constant-w wCDM model in a transparent BAO-geometry-only pressure test. Notable comparison: TSCT's w = -0.9469 is 2.6× closer to the DESI DR2 BAO-preferred constant-w value (~-0.914) than ΛCDM (w=-1) is. Status: Tier 2+ empirical support. The minimal TSCT cosmology is not observationally embarrassed by DESI DR2 BAO geometry. It is alive, competitive, and sharply falsifiable: robust convergence to w=-1 with precision well below |w_TSCT+1| = 0.053 would damage the minimal branch.
