May refine selection for biventricular repair in PA/IVS; leaves open prospective validation of these associations.
What echocardiographic parameters are associated with biventricular circulation and right ventricular growth following right ventricular decompression in patients with pulmonary atresia and intact ventricular septum?
In patients with PA/IVS undergoing RV decompression, larger tricuspid valve annuli and volume-loading conditions (moderate TR or PR) are associated with better RV growth and achievement of biventricular circulation.
