Trifluridine, also known as trifluorothymidine, is a topical antiviral medication commonly used to combat herpesviruses causing ophthalmic infections. Topical and/or oral acyclovir is typically used for mucocutaneous herpes infections. However, in this article, we present 2 cases of cutaneous herpes infections in immunocompromised patients responsive to topical trifluridine and oral famciclovir.
