Reveals enhanced cybersecurity in IoT networks through federated learning, indicating improved data privacy and integrity.
The Internet of Things are the new emerging field in this fast-growing world as its uses increases day by day in healthcare, industries, home appliances and many more places. But as the uses of these devices increases the security issues is associated with it. Many Cyber Security issues are concern with these in the form of cyber-attacks like DDOS, Brute Force, MITM Attack and physical tempering to gain network access. These attacks are possible from many reasons like battery over heated, lack of encryption system, network protocols issues etc. This Federated Learning based methodology can help to achieve secure environment for data exchange in IoT through wireless communication by using decentralized approach to reduce the risk of data integrity and privacy. Also Federated Learning help in better performance and keep secure user data privacy more efficiently. This study re-view the challenges faced in IoT and vulnerability by systematic approach based on pre- defined criteria from dataset. Edge computing enables to having data in its own premises without fear of data leakage and authenticity.
