Knaepen et al. (2023) conducted an RCT in Atrial fibrillation (n=540). AF-EduApp vs. Standard care was evaluated on Perceived quality of follow-up in the past year (score out of 10) (p=0.072). The AF-EduApp resulted in a perceived quality of follow-up score of 8.1 out of 10 compared to 7.7 for standard care, with patients actively using the application for one-third of the available days.
