This article discusses the practical application of Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Human Factors concepts in the context of Brazilian civil aviation, focusing on the impact of these approaches on operational team training. Drawing on direct experience as a cabin crew member at Avianca Brasil (2014–2019), operating Airbus A318, A319, A320, A321, and A330 aircraft on domestic and international routes, and subsequent work as a professional training consultant and instructor, the author analyzes how CRM and Human Factors principles translate into observable behaviors, safer decisions, and effective communication in high-pressure environments. The article proposes that these foundations are applicable to any organization operating in critical contexts.
