This article analyzes the issues of studying folklore texts on the basis of anthropocentric and linguocultural approaches. It highlights the close relationship of folklore works with the human factor, national thinking, cultural values, and ethnic mentality. The study also scientifically describes the concepts, national-cultural units, and linguocultural features reflected in folklore texts. During the research process, the theoretical foundations of the anthropocentric paradigm and linguoculturology are explained, and the importance of semantic, conceptual, and ethnolinguistic analysis of folklore texts is revealed. The article substantiates that folklore serves as an important source reflecting the historical memory and national identity of the people.
