Examines how temperature and magnetic fields affect plasma-activated water properties, suggesting new applications.
In this study, ambient temperature and an external magnetic field are selected as variable parameters to investigate their effects on PAW. A chromogenic reagent is used to evaluate the diffusion of ROS and . The results show that the concentrations of RONS are reduced when the ambient temperature exceeds 5°C. The RONS concentrations increased in response to an external magnetic field. At an ambient temperature of 5°C and N–S configuration magnetic field of 7 mT, the concentrations of , , and can be up to 33.01, 1311.82, and 314.48 μmol/L after 10 min of treatment. The diffusion rates of ROS and are influenced by ambient temperature, while distribution uniformity is controlled by the magnetic field.
