Norton Disney History and Archaeology Group commissioned Allen Archaeology Limited to undertake a geophysical survey using magnetometry on land near Folly Road, Norton Disney, Lincolnshire, to help provide information into the historic environment of the Norton Disney landscape. The geophysical survey has identified a few features of archaeological interest. The semi-circular positive curvilinear feature extending from the western edge of the site likely represents a small enclosure feature, possibly relating to the Roman villa site in the field immediately to the west...The survey also identified a potential former field boundary/former trackway within the field as well as modern land drains running across the field.
