In this study, the weighted toxicity score was applied to the global phase III trials CORRECT and FRESCO-2.After adjusting for toxicity rate in the placebo arms, fruquintinib increased toxicity by 97.8% and regorafenib by 85.07%.Regorafenib was associated with a higher risk of dysphonia, oral mucositis, and weight loss, whereas fruquintinib was associated with a higher risk of hand-foot skin reaction, transaminase elevation, and constipation.
