ABSTRACT This case report describes selective revascularization of the superior mesenteric artery in a patient in the third trimester of pregnancy with probable Marfan syndrome and an acute complicated type B aortic dissection. Open surgical revascularization was preferred over endovascular intervention given the patient's anatomic and clinical high-risk features for retrograde type A aortic dissection.
