Abstract

In order for man to be moral, his body and soul must be clean. With this concept in mind, the moral literatures have recordedmany opinions related to medicine along with morals. The names of the medicines like Elathi, Trikatugam and Sirupanchamoolam are the names of the books. We can learn about what our forefathers saw as diseases and how they treated them through the references in these literatures.
