This scientific article examines the role of the Russian language in intercultural communication among students in Uzbekistan in the context of globalization, multilingual education, and cultural interaction. The article analyzes the historical development of the Russian language in Uzbekistan, its influence on communication between representatives of different ethnic groups, and its significance in higher education, science, and professional development. Special attention is given to the role of Russian as a language of academic communication and intercultural dialogue among university students. The study also explores the relationship between multilingualism, cultural tolerance, and communicative competence in modern Uzbek society. The article concludes that the Russian language continues to remain an important means of intercultural communication and educational integration among students in Uzbekistan.
