Finds gene-diet interactions modify gastric cancer risk among overweight individuals, suggesting further research is needed.
OBJECTIVE: rs1501299 genotype. METHODS: rs1501299 polymorphism, and GC risk were evaluated using multiplicative terms in regression models. RESULTS: rs1501299 genotype. CONCLUSION: rs1501299 genotype significantly modifies the association between sKR and GC risk, specifically among overweight/obese individuals. Future studies should focus on developing and validating standard measurements in nutritional epidemiology to elucidate biological pathways from gene-diet interactions.
